Bobby Birdman

Don't Walk Away Zip Pak

Sold Out

We here at K were lucky to catch Bobby Birdman as they were touring past Olympia last autumn and convince them to record a session at Dub Narcotic Studio, to be released on a Dub Narcotic Disco Plate 7" 45 rpm phonograph record:

1. Don't Walk Away

The version of Bobby Birdman documented here is the same as has been touring the world for all of 2010: Robert Kieswetter sings and plays stringed instruments; Jeff Brodsky plays drums and percussion. Our own Selector Dub Narcotic did a melodica mix for the flipside of the 7" Disco Plate:

2. Dub Walk

This edition of theKSingles Zip-Pak features Special Apps, recordings that will not appear on the "Don't Walk Away" phonograph record, available only here at the K Mail Order Dept.

3. Familiar Terrarin
4. It Takes all Kinds (Wasabi Trail Mix)

These two songs were recorded by Robert Kieswetter in his private recording aviary located somewheres in Southern Calif. All instruments and singing by Rob!

5. Don't Walk Away (Wet Ones Remix)

A ver fresh remix of "Don't Walk Away" completed earlier this week by the Wet Ones, a collaboration between Rob and E*Rock, proprietor of the infamous Portland, Ore. record labels Audio Dregs and FRYK BEAT.

The Bobby Birdman Dub Narcotic Disco Plate "Don't Walk Away" [DBN124] became available June 21, 2011.
