These recordings were made at Dub Narcotic Studio June 28, 2010 by Arrington de Dionyso while Chain & the Gang were rehearsing for their summer tour, which included a performance at the Sled Island Festival in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Arrington used his '40s-era record lathe to record Chain & the Gang directly to plastic picnic plates.
